Dear Yantacaw Families,
Welcome to the 2023-20224 school year! We are honored to be leading the PTO again this year, along with a dedicated and talented team. At Yantacaw, we are so fortunate to have so many wonderful volunteers to help support our students and staff. We hope that you will all find a way to become involved in the Yantacaw community.
We are excited to continue with student enrichment programs, family events, and fundraising efforts. Your support is greatly appreciated so we can host events, bring in assemblies, support our teachers, and continue to enhance our school.
At this time, you can update your current Yantacaw PTO Membership Toolkit account, including your child's teacher information for the 2023-2024 school year at www.yantacawpto.org.
When you update your information, you may opt to become a member for the 2023-2024 school year by paying dues of $10 per family. PTO Membership Form under your forms in Membership Toolkit. As always, if there is a financial hardship, please contact Principal Frank Francia at ffrancia@nutleyschools.org.
Becoming a member allows full access to all of our website features and our optional online directory with parent and student contact information. Once you are a member you will also receive emails from the PTO regarding enrichment programs, fundraisers, and activities we host throughout the year. You can pay directly through the Membership Toolkit, which is the preferred method, as this grants you immediate access. To pay by check made out to Yantacaw PTO please contact membership@yantacawpto.org to make arrangements. Please note that paying by check requires our volunteers to manually add you to our system, so allow up to 2 weeks for your full access to give them time to process everyone.
If you have any problems with the Membership Toolkit, please contact our IT Chair Elise Warshavsky at it@yantacawpto.org.
Once your family is registered, you may volunteer to be a class parent by completing the form on the Yantacaw PTO Membership Toolkit. This form is due by Friday, September 8th. Please contact Rose Bartosiewicz and Shannon Vazquez at membership@yantacawpto.org with any questions. Class Parent Form under your forms in the Membership Toolkit. The class parent lottery will take place in person at the end of our first PTO meeting on September 12th!
Our first two events of the year are right around the corner! Join us on Friday, September 8th for our Welcome Back Family Movie Night! We will have Kurly Kurtosh, ice cream, and a movie outside on the field below Yantacaw! Kurly Kurtosh will be available for purchase beginning at 6:30pm. The movie will begin at 7:30 pm. This is a free event, and you are welcome to pay your membership dues at the event. On Saturday, September 9th the Yantacaw Class of 2024 will be having their car wash/bake sale fundraiser. Bring your car to be washed on the blacktop from 9 am-1 pm for a $5 donation.
Please follow us on Facebook at Yantacaw School PTO for updates! Our first meeting will be Tuesday, September 12th at 7pm in the Yantacaw auditorium. Everyone who attends the meeting will be entered into a raffle to win a prize! We look forward to seeing you!
