Dear Yantacaw Families, 

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!  We are honored to be leading the PTO this year, along with a dedicated and talented team.  At Yantacaw, we are so fortunate to have so many wonderful volunteers to help support our students and staff.  We hope that you will all find a way to become involved in the Yantacaw community. 

We are excited to continue with student enrichment programs, family events, and fundraising efforts. Your support is greatly appreciated so we can host events, bring in assemblies, fund initiatives & requests from our teachers, and continue to enhance our school. 

At this time, you can update your current Yantacaw PTO account via our new PT Board website at yantacawpto.org.  Here you will also update your child's teacher information for the 2025-2026 school year.  In addition, we will need your child(ren)’s t-shirt size for their free Boosterthon Fun Run shirt.  You can complete it on that same form or you can submit it here: https://tinyurl.com/boosterthontshirt

When you update your information, you may opt to become a member for the 2025-2026 school year by paying dues of $15 per family.  You can find the PTO Membership Form under “Forms & Payments” on our website. 

Becoming a member allows full access to all of our website features and our optional online directory with parent and student contact information. Once you are a member you will begin receiving emails from the PTO regarding enrichment programs, fundraisers, and activities we host throughout the year. You can pay directly through PT Board, which is the preferred method, as this grants you immediate access. If you’d like to pay by check, please make it out to Yantacaw PTO and contact membership@yantacawpto.org to make arrangements.  Please note that paying by check requires our volunteers to manually add you to our system, so allow up to 2 weeks for your full access to give them time to process everyone. 

If you have any problems with PT Board, please contact our IT Chair Rebecca Pinghera at it@yantacawpto.org.  

Once your family is registered, you may volunteer to be a class parent by completing the form on our website.  This form is due by Friday, September 5th. Please contact Laura Leonard and Natalia Misas at membership@yantacawpto.org with any questions. The Class Parent Form is under ‘Forms & Payments’ on our website. The class parent lottery will take place in person at the end of our first PTO meeting on September 9th!  Please note any parent who wishes to chaperone a field trip must be fingerprinted.  Please see the Fingerprinting Guidelines on our website. 

Please follow us on Facebook at Yantacaw School PTO for updates!  Our first meeting will be Tuesday, September 9th at 7pm in the Yantacaw auditorium.  Everyone who attends the meeting will be entered into a raffle to win a gift certificate to a local business!  We look forward to seeing you! 

Our first two events of the year are right around the corner!  Join us on Friday, September 12th for our Welcome Back Family Movie Night!  We will have food trucks and a movie outside on the field below Yantacaw!  Spanky’s and Mike’s Ice Cream Truck will be available for purchase beginning at 6:30pm.  Our movie will begin at 7:30pm.  Voting was emailed for the movie! This is a free event, and you are welcome to pay your membership dues at the event.  Also, on Saturday, September 6th the Yantacaw 6th Grade Class of 2026 will be having their car wash/bake sale fundraiser.  Bring your car to be washed on the blacktop from 9am-1pm for a $5 donation.
