The Book of the Month Club is a voluntary activity, sponsored by the Yantacaw PTO, that promotes a love for reading and encourages our children to explore new topics and ideas.

Book of the Month Club will run from October 1st -January 31st and is open to all students in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. If your child wishes to participate in this optional activity, please print the grade appropriate assignment form found on PT Board and email the completed form to reading@yantacawpto.org each month. Students who complete all four months of assignments will receive a $10 voucher that can be used at the Scholastic Book Fair in February!

To make the book of the month activities more interactive and fun, we are encouraging younger students to submit their written form and/or send a picture showing your child presenting their book to a favorite stuffed animal, a friend or a family member. A short one minute video* can also be a fun option to talk about the book!

 *If your child submits a picture or a short video, please disclose in your email submission if you give permission for it to be shared at a PTO meeting to congratulate the participants.
